This time of the year is the best to visit parks, weather is just perfect!
DIGGERLAND USA: Our Experience!
We arrived at the park around 12 noon and stayed until 5 in the afternoon. But with this time we did not manage to do all the activities, not because there were many people, but because we took the time to stroll arouend and enjoy with calm every thing we did. Therefore, my first recommendation is that you go with plenty of time, to spend all day. My daughters did not want to leave of course, they are 11 and 9.
We had some delicious burgers at the place since the park has several food stalls and ample space to sit down to eat. The park is very wide and has enough to see and do.
Attractions:
There is a great variety within the theme of attractions to enjoy for all ages! This park is familiar with all the letters!
SPIN DIZZY
While we were parking the car, the first thing I saw was the JCB JS220 of three-ton torque that turns high. I love this type of attractions that generates adrenaline. We got on with the girls and it was super fun. You have to do it!
SHUTTLE SKY
This JCB 540-170 Telehandler climbs 10 people at a time in a straight line to get the best view of the park 50 feet in the air. The 26,587-pound machine features a turbocharged engine that pumps 81kW (109hp) at 2200rpm! I am afraid of heights but of course I climbed with the family. The girls were delighted with the experience and the view from up there is wonderful.
OILED BEAST
A steel demolition trailer; elevates passengers to more than 34 feet in the air before a simulated dump of their cargo. While we were standing in line to climb, I could see the faces of the children of total amazement. It’s super fun, my daughters were encouraged to go in the front row of it. It is fun! Other things we did: ride on tractors, toured the park on a large tractor, one of those country style. There is also an area chair called Soaring Eagle Zipline, although this attraction is not included in the general admission ticket. The course of the ropes is huge and super high, for all ages and you can go with the kids. My 9-year-old step-daughter loves to do this just like climbing the Rock Wall. For the little ones there are also little trains, small cars to drive, mini tractors, push a tractor, lift tractor wheels and much more. The fun has no limits, visit the Diggerland USA site to see all the attractions for every age and more.
Food and more
Diggerland USA does not allow food or drinks from outside the park, but offers a variety of food options both in a full-service cafe, The Lunch Pail, a comfortable food stand and The Munch Box. If you want to bring your own food, there is a limited amount of picnic space outside the doors of Diggerland.
The only way out in Diggerland is through the gift shop, of course, where you will find a variety of trucks, t-shirts, sweets and more.
