If being a woman requires strength, courage and bravery, being a mother requires even more owing to the changes in routine, lack of time and a seemingly endless number of chores. After all, we are now responsible for someone else! Although many try to get through motherhood normally, the truth is that it involves so many alterations in daily life that we sometimes forget about ourselves sometimes.
Skin care and skin health-especially in the summer-is important for everyone; however, making time for it can be a challenge for any mom.
I often see skin care routines that, in addition to costing a lot of money, take too much time. That’s why I want to share with you some simple summer skin care habits that you can include in your daily routine, which, along with other tips for glowing, youthful skin, will keep you feeling great and healthy.
1- Water, our great ally. I won’t be the first to tell you about the many benefits of consuming water, and I’m sure you know them by heart. Good hydration helps to improve skin elasticity and reduce the number of stretch marks. Drink at least two litres of water every day and try to keep track of how much you consume.
2- Consume foods rich in water. There are countless benefits of cucumber, tomato, spinach, watermelon, kiwi, grapes and other foods high in liquid content when it comes to promoting skin hydration and staying fresh in the summer. You don’t need to have a lot of time or prepare anything too elaborate: you can just put your favourite fruits and vegetables in a blender and create smoothies that are so delicious that even children love them.
3- Use moisturizing products on your skin. Choose water-based creams, moisturizers and deodorants to keep skin moisturized and elastic, preferably with natural ingredients. The glycerin deodorant for the skin is perfect because it attracts moisture from the air and prevents dryness, especially in the underarm area.
4- Use sunscreen. Undoubtedly, this is the step that every skin care routine should have. If you are going out of the house, put plenty of sunscreen on all exposed areas of your body. Using sunscreen on your face, especially one with glycerin, will slow down skin aging, since prolonged exposure to the sun is one of the main causes of wrinkles and causes diseases and skin alterations.
5- Take cold or lukewarm water baths. This will help to promote circulation and prevent the appearance of varicose veins.
I hope these small habits, including the use of glycerin deodorant, will help you to have a quick and easy skin care routine and to show off a healthy and splendid complexion.
See you next time!
